Scholar Spotlights

Peninsula Bridge Scholars are Resilient and Determined to Succeed

Under-resourced and first-generation students often have limited access to educational resources and support, both at school and home. Moreover, undergraduate college enrollment rates have declined 8% nationwide since 2022, with under-resourced and first-generation students accounting for the vast majority of this decline. But our results tell a different story.

With hard-work, grit, a growth mindset and a commitment to their education, our scholars are closing the academic and achievement gap. 100% of Peninsula Bridge scholars matriculate to college. 95% of scholars are on track to graduate in 4-6 years, and 100% of graduating scholars have completed at least one professional internship.
